Mount Aspiring is an imposing and majestic mountain situated in the Southern Alps of New Zealand's South Island. As the country's highest peak outside of the Aoraki / Mount Cook region, Mount Aspiring reaches an elevation of 3,033 meters (9,951 feet). The mountain is part of Mount Aspiring National Park, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site, and is renowned for its pristine wilderness, glacier-carved valleys, and alpine landscapes.
